Huck Botko
Writer/Director Huck Botko initially became a fixture on the underground film circuit. It was there that he unveiled his “Dessert-u-mentary” series, a controversial group of documentaries about poisoning each of his family members.
Huck then co-wrote and directed his first feature film, “Mail Order Wife” about a man who marries a woman from Burma. The film released in April 2005, has received accolades from Rolling Stone, The New York Post, The LA Times and others. It was also the winner of The Best Independent Feature Film at the 2005 Santa Barbara Film festival. Mail Order Wife was produced by Doug Liman. (Go, Swingers, Bourne Identity and Jumper)
Huck also co-wrote the horror film The Last Exorcism, about an atheist bible belt preacher who decides to debunk his profession only to come face to face with real evil. Produced by Eli Roth (Hostel, Cabin Fever) and Eric Newman of Strike Entertainment (Children of Men, Dawn of the Dead).
In 2010 Huck co-wrote and directed The Virginity Hit, a sex comedy, about an 18 year old who desperately tries to lose his virginity after he discovers his soul mate cheated on him. Produced by Will Ferrell and Adam Mckay.
Currently he is co-writing a remake of the 1980 horror movie Funhouse and an original comedy about a high school road race called Wheels. Wheels is produced by Will Ferrell and Adam Mckay at Sony.
Michael A. Critelli
Writer/Producer/Performer
Critelli is a screenwriter and comic based in Los Angeles. Originally from Darien, CT, he wrote
and directed three short plays (In the Name of the Father…, Commitment, and Life Sentence)
locally before heading west to attend the University of Southern California. There, he learned
screenwriting, and also held staged readings of excerpts of his first full-length play, This Funny
Business. He graduated Magna Cum Laude.
He has performed standup in New York and Los Angeles (Caroline’s, Comix, Standup NY,
HaHa Cafe) and currently runs a personal blog of comic essays, CritelliComedy.com. In early
2010, he released a free online music/comedy album, Mike Critelli Presents…The Greatest Love
Songs of All Time, with a follow-up due this summer.
His last visit to New Orleans was for the filming of From the Rough, an independent feature
sports drama starring Taraji P. Henson, Michael Clarke Duncan, and Tom Felton. He wrote the
screenplay, and earned an Associate Producer credit for his role in its development.
Brent Lilley
Brent Lilley worked in independent finance and packaging for Paradigm before leaving to take a more hands on and creative approach as a manager at Foursight Entertainment. He currently works for Mosaic, where he manages publishers, and talent for both film and television. Mosaic is a management/production company with a TV deal at HBO and film deal at Sony.
Rebecca Rosenberg
Born and raised just outside of Baton Rouge, Louisiana – Becca graduated from LSU with a BA in Theater, before moving to Los Angeles in 2005. She went on to stage manage shows for various companies in LA including the prestigious Center Theater Group. In 2006, her love for talent led her to Principato-Young Entertainment, where she worked under the Co-CEO of the company, before being promoted to Manager in 2009. She currently represents actors, writers, directors, and musicians.
Julian Rosenberg
Born and raised in Vancouver, Canada, Julian began his career an independent producer. By age 21, his films had won multiple awards, and screened at dozens of film festivals internationally. This early success led him to move to Los Angeles, and in 2005 at age 22 he became one of the youngest Managers in Hollywood. A year later, he joined the United Talent Agency’s prestigious Agent Trainee Program and spent 2 years learning from some of the biggest Agents in the business, before once again becoming a manager in 2008. He is currently a manager at Caliber Media Co., where he represents Actors, Writers and Directors, and develops scripts for film and television.
